Rules
Respect the Mods: This, naturally, goes without saying. You respect the Mods, the Mods will respect you and all is well with the game.
Respect Your Fellow Players: Please, do not take ic problems into ooc, and don't take ooc problems into ic. If there is a problem of any kind, please take it to a mod and let us sort it out without drawing in any other players. The game is meant to be fun for everyone, so please relax and play!
Be Active: If you've applied, we're assuming it's cause you have the time to play. When you take on a thread, post promptly and finish as fast as you can. Don't leave the person you are playing with hanging. (Or the rest of us reading your thread. It's probably very interesting and we all hate cliff-hangers ^_~) If you will be absent for a lengthy period of time, please post in the ooc community and let us know. If you are gone longer than three weeks without notice, you will likely be removed.
Put Clear Headings On Your Posts: A thread heading includes:
Who Which characters are in this thread?
Where Where did this thread take place?
When When did this thread take place?
Rating PG, M, NC-17. Anything NC17 (that doesn't mean just sex. Graphic violence, drug use, and sensitive topics will fit under there as well) must be clearly labelled as such and friends locked.
Status Incomplete or Complete
Minimum Lines The board enforces a six sentence per post minimum not inclusive of speech. We heartily encourage you to post more as you please :)
Tense: Past tense third person for posts, and first person in journal entries. Unless your character writes about themselves in the third person narrative. o.0?
No God-moding: Never move, or speak for another person's character without their permission. It is rather bad role play etiquette. Your character may, for example, smack another character upside the head. You may not, however, say that the other character then punched yours in retaliation.
Your character does not know all: Be thoughtful, and keep things in perspective. Be reasonable with character knowledge, and if in doubt ask for another’s opinion.
