Hogwarts Story is set twenty-five years after Voldamort was finally destroyed. Since, the world of wizards has thrived in new found peace; War and fear are a thing of the past. While some still hold to 'pureblood beliefs', most have done away with the idea that muggleborn and halfbloods are lesser wizards. Slytherin has even been forced to take some halfbloods due to the number of pureblood students dwindling. But Hogwarts, as always, is a second home to hundreds of young wizards, teaching them everything they need to know about magic and sometimes a lot more about life.
This is one of the few games that isn’t about the next big wizard war. Which isn’t set during the books or before, but after with the children of canon characters. There’s no big admin run plot line to follow. Instead, we have a focus on friendships, enemies, relationships, and personal storylines. There will, however, be many, many small plot lines and things happening around the school, which will be admin run. Everything from pranksters playing tricks (which you can sign your character up for) to characters discovering the house elves are serving frogs' legs for dinner.
Above all, with a focus on fun and a relaxed atmosphere to write in, its going to be a blast!

Naturally, we want to keep this a fun game. Yet to do that we need some rules in place. So here are the ten rules of our game:

We only accept five males and five females for each year in each house. If a row of the table displays the word Full then we will not accept any more characters, other than premades, for that house and year.
Please go here to hold a character.

Below are the premade characters for the game. While you can pick the first names of the entire family (if they're not yet listed), you can not change who is in a family (eg: if there's a sister listed for the character you've chosen, you must write a sister in the bio).
Complete OC's are welcome. However we will only accept five girls and five boys for each year in each house. Go here to see if there is room in the house and year you wish to apply for. All OC's in Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw (not premades/not listed below) are to be muggleborn. All OC's in Slytherin (not premades/not listed below) are to be halfblood.
The 5th, 6th, and 7th year characters are the focus of this game, so younger years, while playable, may not 'fit in' as easily. You are, however, welcome to apply for them, provided you play them as their age.
Parents are to be NPC's and can not be played.
Key:
Blue = Taken Character
Red = Held Character
Green = Mod Hold
*Note: If one character in a family is on hold, we will put you in contact with that player so you can work on history/family names together.
If one character in a family is already taken, we will put you in contact with that player so you can read their bio.
