So my computer's acting up. My monitor's skewing the images on the screen and it's wobbling back and forth in little streaks. It's acting like a capacitor blew on my video card, but I can't find a problem in the hardware. I'll be able to get someone to look at it this weekend, so hopefully I can make another post like "EVERYTHING'S WORKING YAY! :D :D :D!!" But if not, that might mean I need a hiatus. Later, kids. Summer vacation is upon us in Korea. No, this does not mean that teachers get more time off. The opposite, in fact. I will now be teaching from 10am to 10pm (straight), M/T/Th/F, 10-9 on Weds, and 10-5 on Sat.
In summary, don't expect me to be around much - and if I am around, don't expect me to be chirpy, cheery, nor even awake. zzz.
I will have Jungsu's sn on 24/7 as usual, and I will be signing on through classes at school. Please feel free to hit him up (or just hit him) there, but be aware that response time will be very slow.
This goes into effect from today, and we should return full time at the end of August.

Okay, so, for the few not on my LJ flist and have been wondering where the hell I've been...here I am? :D But not really. It seems as though my computer is no longer able to receive an internet signal...or something. I don't really know, but I'm going to get it looked at. I think it's just because of where I'm set up in the house and the heat, but who knows. In the mean time, I'm able to leach off of my parents computer for email an' all that jazz. I've been hesitant to load AIM as it is not my computer, so I'm not really sure when I'll be around again.
So... email me! I can check it a few times a day, so if you want/need anything, do not hesitate. Until things are up and running again, though, don't expect to see a lot of KyuHyun or JunSu around. I really thought we were going to have this problem fixed by now which is why I haven't bothered posting about it, but, alas, to no avail. California internet service providers are apparently made of fail.

Hey guys, this is just to bring up a few concerns we've had our eyes on lately.
GE has been running for well over two years, now, and naturally we want it to continue to be a successful community and a welcoming home for the muses within. However, there are a few things communities need in order to be successful, and it worries us when we start to see them falling by the wayside.
In fact, we'd like to remind you of our number one rule, which has never changed: We don't care how many groups you belong to, but please don't join if you are spread too thin to pay attention to your muse/s here. It holds up storylines for other people and is not fair to those who are dedicating enough attention to the game.
Honestly, this hasn't been a problem for the majority, but there are some repeated problems with inactivity and lack of interaction. For muses who have a lot of connections within groups or between groups, this can be a real problem; not only does it make it difficult for the muse in question to thrive, but it's problematic for the muses whose reals spend a lot of time together. If they never actually see each other, who are they supposed to connect and interact with?
From the beginning, we've never wanted GE to be the kind of game that requires logs to be posted to prove activity. We've had the journal checks, and that's more than enough as far as we're concerned... but please don't think that making a post on a journal once every two weeks (or month, or more--whenever we catch up with the activity checks and post a warning) means a muse is active. If a muse a.) belongs to a group, and b.) hasn't interacted in scene (whether that's a face-to-face scene, or takes place through txting or a phone call) with more than one other muse in the last month or two, something probably needs to change. Maybe a private storyline might be better for them, especially if they don't feel a real connection with the rest of their group and don't foresee things changing. It just breeds negativity on both sides, y'know?
We know there are muses who are more than willing to interact and have been trying to connect, but never seeing their closest bandmates sign on or reach out has left them in a really frustrating position. It may hurt everyone to see a long-time muse retire from a community, but in the end, it can hurt everyone a lot more for that same muse to drift along for months on end, only scraping by with the bare minimum of activity, and never making any effort to keep in touch with those around them.
Let's not ghost, guys. Either be sincere about participating, or step out so someone else can. Both us mods are available and more than happy to discuss matters, if you're worried about something going on (or not going on) with your muses, so talk to us if there's a concern. On our end, we're going to step up faster and more efficiently so nobody feels like they're stuck in a grey area.
