Oh man! Just got our power back and, damn, are we grateful for it! I swear, a couple of hours in Florida in August without air con and, when it finally switches on again, you feel as good as the caveman who invented the wheel must have done! XD

Everything's pretty stable right now, high winds obviously, and lots and lots of rain, but my sister got half a day today and the library's closed tomorrow! Hey, I'd suffer through a tropical storm for a long weekend, too! ;-P

    They say that most storm related injuries and deaths, and summer related injuries and deaths for that matter, are due to heat exhaustion. Dunno if that's in any way true, but there ya go! The wind was so strong that I thought I'd pull a Mary Poppins when I took my dog for a pee with an umbrella! My sister has some nasty asthma and that's our main concern with the loss of air con. And, also, maybe sitting in my brother's company for an extended period of time with no diversion from television or the radio might end in an unfortunate homicide! Hehehe! XP
    
    Lost the power a little again today but we were really, really lucky because other buildings were out for hours, including the main office! 0_o
