Here comes Tropical Storm Fay!

And, for reference, just where the heck Gainesville is on a map of Florida.

So, good news, bad news, we're not sure yet. Keep in mind, the projected path has changed about five times over the past two days. So, we'll see.

      So far so good! It's stalled right now (oh for...!) and they're expecting it to hit us now around the Thursday mark after going out into the Atlantic. This thing's changed directions more time than a blind grandma behind the wheel, so who knows! :-P I still have hope it's not gonna be as bad as they say!

    And if the officials say leave...GET THE FUCK OUTTA DODGE, SISTER! Don't be one of those fucking loonies who ties themselves to a palm tree to "ride it out". At the very least, I got an air mattress in the living room and NC isn't too far out. Hell, Jade could borrow it and you could hang out across the yard from me.

      Oh, trust me: they say evacuate, me and my sister are already halfway to the car! We know all the pet friendly shelters in our area, know them a bit too well after taking a pounding in '04/'05!

      And thanks for the offer! Hopefully, worse won't come to worse and we'll be safe here, and we're taking every precaution to make sure we are! :-)
