FAQ 1: How Do I..? has been created and updated. Please note this FAQ will be updated frequently as the rest of the FAQ's get written to include links for more information.

Create a CommieJournal account?

Manage my account's settings?

Validate my email address?

Visit the validate email page and request an email be sent.

Update my journal or post to a community?

Go to the Update Journal page. If you want to post in a community change the journal in the post to drop-down menu.

Purchase a paid account?

Read my journal or my friend's journal?

Go to http://exampleusername.commiejournal.com. Replace "exampleusername" with your friend's username to visit their own journal.

Add someone to my Friends list?

Follow the instructions at the Edit Friends page.

Read my Friends page?

Go to http://exampleusername.commiejournal.com/friends. Replace "exampleusername" with your own username.

Comment on someone else's journal entry?

Click on the "post comment" link for that specific entry. Note: Some users may have changed their comment link text.

Delete a comment that I left or that someone else left on my journal?

Click the button with the red "X" in it on top of the comment to wish to delete.

Edit or delete a journal entry?

View the entry and click the "blue pencil" icon in the toolbar at the top of the page.

Use a <lj-cut> tag in my entries?

<lj-cut> or <lj-cut text="Link text here">.

Link to another CommieJournal user?

<lj user="exampleusername"> will create a link to exampleusername's journal.

Upload a userpic?
