I've been fighting this back for a while, but the straw finally broke the camel's back a couple nights ago. Now I'm not one to go pointing fingers, so I won't be leaving any details, but I know some of you might not be too distressed by my departure. I loved my time here though, and I hate to leave. Thanks for giving me my first home, mods. I'll never forget it. But you know what they say about all good things....

I'll miss you guys; hope you had a good holiday 'cause every one of you deserve it.

Writing Sample: This isn't her first solo stage, but it's the first *big* one. The first that will air on nationwide television for all Korea to see, as she stumbles through the lyrics and tries not to mangle the too-high notes that are still a struggle for her to reach. The lights go off and she hurries to take her place, center-stage, breathing in deeply. 'It's going to be okay. It's going to be okay.' Reciting the mantra doesn't calm her nerves a bit and her fingers are shaking as she brings her microphone up to her lips. The first line in, the fans are already chanting her name. More importantly, off to the side, the rest of SoNyuShiDae are gathered to cheer her on. It gives her confidence, her bandmates' faith in her, and she finds the courage to continue, even when she falters and is asked to stop, start over again. As the crew dims the overhead light, she casts one more glance at her family crouched in the sidelines, holding their thumbs up and hissing words of encouragement just loud enough for her to hear. This is her first big solo stage, but she isn't alone.

In the middle of the Soshi apartment, Sunny, the little chubby cheeked ball of energy, was currently singing along to the new Wonder Girls single on the radio while folding the night's laundry. Socked feet allowed her to slide along on the hardwood floor of the apartment as she danced along with the music, licking her painted lips between choruses while using a clean shirt as her dancing buddy. The next few verses brought on Super Junior-esque hip thrusts and moon walking across the floor, ending in a flourish of flailing limbs and her rear on the floor.

Now all she needed was some kind oppa to help her up.

Hello! As most of you should have noticed by now, we've had a number of membership changes recently, and the claims list has been updated accordingly. Please take a look, make sure you have all current members of the game added, and note their SNs for contact and scening.

For any corrections to the claims list, please contact one of us~

Each muse (barring very real restrictions like no computer/internet access) has until the end of the month to post something in their personal journal, and the next cut list will go up then.

The checkup room was silent save for the sound of the air-conditioner running and the scratching noise of the pen over the paper of the information sheet he was told to fill up.

Next to height he scribbles 6 feet 1..next to blood type he puts in B..and then to birth date February 10 1987-- Current health condition--

"Ah, excuse me doctor--"

Shiwon lifts his gaze from the paper and looks up for the attending doctor who was just resurfacing from picking up something that had fallen to the floor.

Something seemed amiss.there was something off about the doctor.Nonetheless he continues with his query.

"What exactly do i put in here under current health condition?"

"Well how has your health been in the last six months?" the doctor responds.

"I've been healthy but ive gained a few pounds and then lost some over the past months and--" Shiwon blinks and looks around.The doctor seemed to have gone under the desk again as he was answering the question--weird.

"Alright just put it all there in the paper" the doctor seats himself again in his chair and arranges some papers on the desk only to drop something and disappear yet again.

Shiwon's eyebrow arches and he looks around once more, this time pulling back and tilting his head to look under the desk when the doctors pops up once more--but again there seemed something off about the doctor--come to think of it , it seemed like this one was'nt the same doctor he was talking to earlier, Shiwon thought.

"Sorry to bother you again but--" the young man asked looking at the paper before his eyes turn to the doctor "number 6 is--"

He shifted back suprised,both eye brows arched, eyes going almost comically wide behind thick rimmed glasses.The doctor had changed again!

"Where did the other one go??" He looked around and then panned his gaze to the new doctor who seemed to have just popped up out of nowhere.

"Hm? I was here all the time" the doctor refuted.
"Excuse me?" "No, that's not right--earlier there was a different doctor" he shook his head.Shiwon was sure he was'nt the same doctor.
"Did you have a late filming last night?" the doctor asks nonchalantly.
"Well i did go to bed late last night--" Shiwon stared at the doctor again still puzzled, eyes still wide.

Finally he decided to dismiss his suspicions, just shake his head,chuckle and go back to filling up the form.

"Aish..maybe i really do need to go to a hospital"

Slowly he wandered through the hall, his hyung calling for him. Something was missing, he had it a few days ago but now suddenly it was gone. Donghae bit his lip as he was supposed to be the happy go lucky one of the group (no matter how much Zhoumi spread the rainbows and sunshine), but for some reason today he felt..sad. Why did it hurt suddenly to look at people? His heart felt like it was going to leave on it's own and the younger member had no clue why. Maybe he was just having one of those days. Dragging his feet along, Donghae hummed softly and thought of Korea...of home. He missed having Eunhyuk there to bully and Eeteuk there to take care of him. But now he had a new family, his umma Hangeng, his appa Shiwon, his annoying brothers. Everything was supposed to be better...but was it?

Zhou Mi comes off the stage with his heart racing and his eyes a little too wide, smile fixed in place. It's getting easier than it used to be--he hasn't spotted one of those signs in a week and there are none of the chilling silences anymore when he steps forward. He still can't help the split-second reflex he's developed, the need to scan the crowd and look for it, but he's really, truly grateful for the voices that do call his name in a way that he couldn't have been, a year ago.

He can say the experience has taught him that appreciation, if nothing else. It was too easy, when he was the golden child, the driven perfectionist with a natural flair for success, to take it for granted. Out-perform the competition, and the audience will fall at your feet. But when there's no competition he can face down, no task he can succeed at, just formless hostility... what then? That's what he's learning, a step at a time.

It makes me sad to say it, and anyone paying attention has probably realized it already due to my ridiculous absence for quite some time, but I'm moving away to a place with more people I can connect with. It's a difficult world for those of us who, ah, left our twenties behind perhaps a little longer ago than we'd prefer to mention, and all of you energetic Korean youths are making me feel exceptionally ~~old and unhip~~. >.>;

I'll miss it here, because it made me who I am, but if you miss me, too, I'm still available at my old number (#fakeXblueXeyes) and at my new address, so don't hesitate to contact me if you wish.
